The incidence rate by department is an indicator to be followed very closely in order to monitor the evolution of the epidemic. We discover together the incidence rates of each department at Friday June 30, 2023.

Theindicator to keep a close eye on at the moment is the incidence rate for each département. In fact, it enables us to estimate the proportion of people infected in each département, and corresponds to the number of people tested positive for the Coronavirus over the last 7 days out of 100,000 inhabitants.

Find below the incidence rates by department as at Tuesday June 27, 2023. We have highlighted in red the departments where the incidence rate is over 200 per 100,000, and in orange the departments where it is between 50 and 199 per 100,000. We have highlighted in green those departments where the threshold is below the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000.

The indicators linked to the COVID-19 pandemic mentioned below are provided by Santé publique France and updated automatically on this article via the Géodes and data.gouv.fr databases as soon as the data are available.

Data.gouv.fr states:
In the context of a favorable epidemic, as of July 1, 2023, the current legal framework provides for the cessation of processing of personal data from SI-DEP. Consequently, after a two-week transitional adjustment period, the new virological surveillance indicators will be published at national, regional and departmental levels) on a weekly basis.

From this date onwards, specific input instructions in SI-VIC will be lifted, and hospital indicators will no longer be available.

Santé publique France will continue to monitor the epidemic through its multi-source system.

Indicators relating to genomic surveillance, use of SOS Médecins associations, hospital emergencies and deaths will remain available.
