Monument Jeu d'Enfant 2024: a special toy library in Paris' Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe opens its doors to families on October 19 and 20, 2024, for the latest edition of the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event.

An emblematic monument on the Place de l'Etoile in Paris, built under Napoleon I to celebrate the Emperor's victorious armies, a commemorative arch housing the tomb of the Unknown Soldier: there's a lot to say about theArc de Triomphe and its history.

Come and visit this French monument on October 19 and 20, 2024, to discover all its secrets, and above all, to enjoy the incredible panorama it offers over Paris. During this first weekend of the All Saints' vacation, the Arc de Triomphe is free for children, and offers original activities for the whole family.

This tempting program is part of the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event, an annual get-together that allows youngsters to (re)discover France's most beautiful monuments. For the occasion, special activities are planned for the little ones, to help them enjoy history and heritage in a different way. The weekend program at the Arc de Triomphe :

  • From history to games: a toy library at the Arc de Triomphe
    October 19 and 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    Enjoy a unique family experience at the heart of history and games! For a weekend, the Arc de Triomphe is transformed into an exceptional toy library. Accompanied by a mediator, immerse yourself in a captivating tour of the monument, followed by exclusive access to a play area focusing on history, war, architecture and the arts. Join us for an unforgettable day of discovery and fun for the whole family! In partnership with L'Oiseau Jeu.
    Tours take place at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., followed by access to the toy library for around 1 hour
    The toy library is accessible to hearing-impaired participants, as is the 2 p.m. discovery tour (bilingual French-LSF)
