This winter, hotels are redoubling their efforts to help you cope with this difficult season. While some have chosen to install a chalet on their terrace, others are betting on a more revitalizing side. Until the end of April 2019, The Westin Paris-Vendôme will be offering an ephemeral restaurant with abohemian chic feel, sheltered from the cold temperatures.
Nestled in the warm patio of the Hotel, the ephemeral restaurant " Le Jardin d'Hiver " boasts a nomadic, ethnic decor with beautiful furnishings: comfortable cushions in colorful fabrics, light linen curtains, Berber rugs, hanging lights and string lights, natural materials, weathered wood, plants, flowers and feathers...
Once you've settled in, discover the beautiful seasonal menu devised by Chef David Réal.
He invites you to get away from it all with his generous cuisine, enhanced by a few " gypsy " touches such as cardamom, chickpea, verbena and saffron.
What's on the menu? An assortment of veloutés (pumpkin, cauliflower, mushroom), scallops sublimated with lime, duck foie gras with purple figs, as well as four seafood dishes (salmon, scallops, cod and fish poke bowl) and four earthy dishes (veal blanquette, pork, beef and poultry supreme).
For those with a sweet tooth, don't resist the creations of pastry chef Florence Lesage!
This winter, there's no doubt about it, head for the Winter Garden at The Westin Paris-Vendôme to gently face the cold temperatures.
Until the end of April, the " Jardin d'Hiver " is the hotel's only restaurant. During this period, the Le First restaurant will be used exclusively for breakfast and Sunday brunch, and will become a private, customizable space for groups.
