Whether you are passionate about luxury watches or simply curious to understand their mechanisms, Objectif Horlogerie offers comprehensive introductory courses lasting 4.5 hours to learn all about the functioning of mechanical hand-wound movements.
It is in the 4th district of Paris, at 48 Rue de Rivoli that Samir Khemici, the founder ofObjectif Horlogerie, and his associate Jean-Yves Golvan, open the doors of their "apartment".
You are welcomed in the living room; parquet floors, moldings and a very watchmaking style decoration set the tone. Sitting on the sofa with a drink, the watchmakers (state graduates) get to know you before getting down to business. That's when you discover the second part of the place: the workshop.
On the program, discovery of the history of watchmaking followed by a theoretical course on the functioning of a mechanical watch and of course the dismantling and reassembly of a decorated ETA (Swiss) caliber that you carry out yourself with the help of the watchmakers, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Even a coffee and pastry break is provided.
A total immersion thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and professionals who are passionate above all.
For those who want to go further, there is the " Master Time " workshop in private lessons and the " My Time " workshop where you assemble your own watch.
Objectif Horlogerie is also there to advise you, to sell watchmaking accessories and also to revise your mechanical watches.
The Objectif Horlogerie team comes to you in France: Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Lille and Cannes but also in the world: Luxembourg, Brussels, Geneva and Dubai.
Whether you are a watch enthusiast, a watch lover or simply curious, come and live the unique experience of mastering time.
