Fête Nationale in Vitry-sur-Seine (94): Fireworks and popular ball on July 14, 2024

In Vitry-sur-Seine, the Fête nationale is a not-to-be-missed event. It's a time for fun and dancing, and a magnificent fireworks display that could almost rival that of Paris! Once again this year, Vitry-sur-Seine has lined up a top-notch program for July 14, 2024. What more could you ask for?

This Sunday, July 14, a public holiday in France, the festivities get off to an early start: from 4pm, the music resounds from the Avenue Roger-Derry mall, and dancers are invited to come and enjoy themselves and show off their talents on the dance floor, at the bal populaire. The festive atmosphere continues all evening until 11 p.m.

Shortly before 11 p.m., we leave the ball to cross the street and settle down comfortably in the Parc Joliot-Curie, also known as the "swan park". In this beautiful green setting, we prepare to marvel at the traditional fireworks display, fired from the Joliot-Curie stadium. Young and old alike are sure to be enchanted by these explosions of color.
