Every July 14th, it's the same story: Parisians and tourists alike flock to the Champs-Élysées to admire the military parade down the world's most beautiful avenue (exceptionally moved this year), before looking up at the stars in the evening to watch the fireworks. Most even finish the marathon by taking to the dance floor, the bals des pompiers and other bals populaires.
The festivities will take place on July 13, in the town of Neuilly-sur-Marne! This year, the town of Seine-Saint-Denis is organizing the "Big Jump" event from 3pm onwards, on the banks of the Marne, and is installing an ephemeral pool for the occasion. Since 2022, the Big Jump event has been bringing together people from all over Europe around the waterways closest to their city. The aim is to raise collective awareness of the importance of taking care of our rivers. The pool will also be accessible from July 13 to 17, from 2 to 6 pm.
The festivities continue in the evening with a free concert by the Your Dream Band at 9pm, already present for the 2023 edition!
Just like last year, the fireworks display, usually held on Place Stalingrad, will not be taking place in Neuilly-sur-Marne. Unfortunately, the city of Neuilly-sur-Marne has also decided that there will be no summer edition in Neuilly-sur-Marne in 2024.
Happy FêteNationale 2024 to all!
