To celebrate the Fête Nationale, this July 13, 2024, the city of Montreuil invites you to take part in the traditional firemen's ball, to dance the night away!

Every year, on July 14th, the whole of France is abuzz with celebrations, and with good reason: it's Bastille Day. Traditional festivities take place between July 13 and 14, with fireworks exploding in every corner of the country (including an iconic pyrotechnic show fired from the Eiffel Tower, no less!), concerts, Republican picnics and... popular balls, including the famous firemen's ball.

In every corner of the Paris region, different communes organize their own events to celebrate the French National Holiday, allowing some to find a program close to home and others to take advantage of the opportunity to discover the Ile-de-France region.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, the town of Montreuil, known for its popular, artistic and bobo vibe, doesn't miss a chance to celebrate. Every year, this commune in the inner suburbs offers its own program of festivities for the Fête Nationale. In the run-up to the festivities, you can take advantage of the city's many terraces and wastelands to discover its lush parks, family-friendly spots and lively third-party venues.

Montreuil's Fête Nationale 2024 program includes the traditional firemen's ball! On July 13, 2024, the men of the 24th fire and rescue company will be holding a rendezvous in the heart of the fire station on rue Pasteur. On the menu for the evening: DJ, food trucks, bars and other delicacies, to get the party started at 6pm. A free evening that's sure to attract night owls.
