So here you are, looking for a spot to admire this pyrotechnic show! If you don't have the budget to go to a terrace with an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, you can enjoy the show free of charge by visiting places that offer a beautiful view of our Iron Lady. But where are they?
At the foot of the Eiffel Tower?
The most obvious choice is the Champs de Mars, the park that lies directly at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, or the Place du Trocadéro, which also offers a fine view. It's usually an early bird's choice, and with good reason: it's hard to beat the location. However, this year, particularly with the organization of the Paris 2024 Olympics, restrictions will make it impossible to get to this area. You'll have to opt for the opposite side of the river, depending on what the security perimeter allows.
Get a bird's eye view
Another well-known spot to admire the fireworks in Paris: the Sacré Coeur steps. From the heights of the Butte Montmartre, you can not only enjoy the spectacle, but also a panoramic view of the capital. The Parc de Belleville is also a prime location, offering a panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower. If you venture across the ring road to Mont Valérien, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the Iron Lady! An original view also awaits you from the Passerelle de l'Avre in Saint-Cloud.
Parisian streets
Last but not least, don't forget the streets overlooking the Eiffel Tower: rue Saint-Dominique in the 7th arrondissement comes to mind, as does avenue de Camoëns in the 16th arrondissement, with its charming staircase that plunges you into a scene worthy of a fine film. In the same district, the corner of rue de l'Amiral Hamelin and rue Galillée also offers a lovely view.
