The town of Meaux is looking forward to celebrating the Fête Nationale in style! This year, the Seine-et-Marne commune is offering a wide range of events for residents, to bring everyone together for this popular celebration. Meaux is the department's most densely populated town, and is home to a number of places of interest that tell the story of the commune's rich history. From Gallo-Roman ramparts to 13th-century remains, not to mention the many churches, town houses and other sights, there's plenty to keep you enthralled!
But what really interests us this July are the festivities organized for July 14th. To commemorate the storming of the Bastille, on July 13, 2024, the commune invites its residents to attend a parade, a distribution of lanterns and a superb fireworks display!
All these events are free of charge!
