How about celebrating July 14th? To celebrate Bastille Day, the city of Nanterre is offering families and local residents its traditional fireworks display from the Gabriel Péri stadium on July 13, 2024, starting at 11pm. While the fireworks are fired from the stadium, they can also be seen from the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville! It's a real eye-catcher!
As a reminder, every year, the national holiday is an opportunity to admire the many fireworks displays across the Paris region (either on July 13 or July 14, depending on the city), as well as to dance at the bals populaires and bals des pompiers, or enjoy a picnic on the grass. In Paris, the traditional fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower attracts thousands of curious onlookers, as does the grand Paris concert on the Champ-de-Mars.
And, of course, this fireworks display, to be enjoyed with family and friends, is free and open to all. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a superb fireworks display, especially if you're in the area. Either way, you'd be wrong to miss out! Shall we go, folks?
