Following a prefectoral decree banning fires, including fireworks and bonfires, in Seine-et-Marne, Villeparisis is no longer offering its traditional July 14th bonfire, but has planned a number of events to ensure a successfulFête Nationale , including a large Republican picnic with dancing and plenty of entertainment! Head for the Stade des Petits Marais from 7pm to 11pm to celebrate in a whole new way on July 13, 2024.
In the catering area, you'll find tables, chairs and deckchairs, so that everyone can enjoy a picnic-style meal. Bring your own lunch, or take advantage of the refreshment bar or food truck. All day long, there's entertainment for all ages, with climbing cages and other fun courses!
A DJ will be on hand from 7pm to set the mood for the closing night show, featuring spectacular light and sound effects.
Take advantage of your stay in Villeparisis to visit this corner of Seine-et-Marne, strolling along the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, discovering the Church of Saint-Martin, a fine example of 16th-century Gothic architecture, and touring the nearby Musée de la Résistance nationale, which will help you get into the military mood of the day!
