La Cité de Noël: XXL village, Nordic sauna and unusual Christmas markets at Cité Fertile (93)

It's almost time for the long-awaited Christmas markets, the ultimate rendezvous for finding original, homemade and sometimes last-minute Christmas gifts! Like last year, several markets are inviting themselves to La Cité Fertile for the occasion, with a Christmas City and its XXL village. Join us from November 30 to December 22, 2024 for committed, responsible gift-giving and an exceptional program!

There's something for everyone, with different exhibitors every weekend, from Japanese markets to second-hand goods... in short, an unusual Christmas village in the heart of a former railway station, over several weekends, starting at midday. It's an opportunity to taste comforting specialities from local restaurateurs with their gourmet streetfood stands, to enjoy large play areas and more festive evenings with the whole family, and even a Nordic sauna!

The program

• Upcycled play maze: an XXL wooden play trail for young and old, combining fun and eco-responsibility.
• Artists' workshop: creation of handmade Christmas gifts, guided by local craftsmen and artists, in a DIY space dedicated to art and know-how.
• Wishing Hut: a participatory art project where everyone is invited to leave their wishes for the coming year.
• Live performances and shows: concerts, choirs, brass bands and artistic performances will punctuate each weekend on the Grande Scène in the Halle Canopée.
• Nordic immersion: in the Brewery Vats, the Nordic experience can be enjoyed to the full, with a sauna, chill-out area, massages and treatments.

• November 30: Déambulation merveilleuse, free show
• November 30 & December 1: The Gros Marché de Noël, a vintage and second-hand market to promote buying local.
• December 7 & 8: Shizen, the Japanese Christmas Market
• December 14 & 15: Maxi Rave de Noël, a Christmas party for grown-ups, with an underground Christmas market and two maxi techno day clubs in Les Halles, hosted by Quest404 and RAW.
