Interviewed by Europe 1 this Saturday March 27, 2021, Minister of Industry Agnès Pannier-Runacher intended to sound reassuring about France’s vaccination pace, saying 3 million doses were to be shipped to France next week.

Emmanuel Macron reminded so this past March 23, the French population must be vaccinated quickly, “morning, noon, and night” to hope to be able to exit the third epidemic wave soon. Therefore, all French aged 70+, as well as teachers, are the following group on the injection list, starting today for the former, and April for the latter.

Interviewed by Europe 1 this Saturday March 27, Minister of Industry Agnès Pannier-Runacher intended to sound reassuring about the number of Covid vaccine doses (soon) to be available in vaccination centers and hubs in France.

We are expecting major deliveries next week: about 3 million doses are to arrive in France, as confirmed by different laboratories”, she said. “There are variations related to Moderna deliveries, shipping every two weeks. But we work with roughly 2.5 and 3 million doses, including progressive increase, up to around 4 million doses by late April, early May”.

Confident” she says: “Today, our vaccinal strategy relies a lot on BioNTech laboratoryteaming up with Pfizer. They have always bene there since the vaccination started. It enables us to confirm the goal of 30 million French vaccinated by the end of June. Moderna has always caught up delivery delays, while Janssen also confirmed shipping was initiated”.

Hopefully, it will reassure the French population (a bit).
