The vaccination campaign goes on in France. Since April 16, people aged 60+ without comorbidities are given access to the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, while everyone aged 55+ can be vaccinated since Monday April 12, but only with the AstraZeneca vaccine. A vaccine making many French distrustful.
According to an Odoxa-Backbone Consulting survey for France Info and Le Figaro published this past April 8, 71% of the people surveyed do not want of the Swedish-British vaccine because of the cases of thrombosis found in several people given a first dose of the serum.
Same mistrust to Janssen. The vaccine developed by American group Johnson & Johnson was to arrive in French pharmacies from April 22, 2021. But deliveries are delayed because of an investigation carried out in the United States and in Europe following several severe cases of thromboses in women under the age of 50 in the United States. At the time the survey has been carried out, 59% of people said to trust this new vaccine.
