The Medieval City of Provins and its Tourist Office invite all families to a free historic Easteregg hunt. Set off on an adventure in Provins for a weekend of egg hunts, stories, games and riddles, on March 31 and April 1, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm each day.
As every year, Provins Tourist Office is organizing a clever treasure hunt to entertain young and old alike. To take part in this festive day, meet in front of the Tourist Office, located at 4 rue Villecran in Provins, to pick up the map and the riddles for the treasure hunt, which will punctuate your stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed medieval city.
Children (aged 12 and under) accompanied by their parents will follow in the footsteps of knights and princesses (people dressed up as in medieval times), to receive little chocolate eggs. And there's no need to rush, as there will be no fewer than 10,000 chocolate eggs to delight little knights and princesses, dressed up or down, in search of the stories hidden behind these buildings dating back more than eight centuries!
The best part is that this egg hunt is entirely free of charge, and no reservation is necessary! Afterwards, children can take part in a chocolate-making workshop (at a cost of €13 per child) at the Biscuiterie Médiévale de Provins ( booking required). So, shall we go?
