Celebrate Halloween in Paris with Un Día de Muertos at the Parc Floral! A festive event to celebrate Mexican cultureon November 4 and 5, 2023 .

This free celebration, open to all, features a series of creative workshops, a painting exhibition, concerts, dancing, parades and more. For gourmets, a sales area will be reserved for sampling Mexican gastronomic specialties, and for craft enthusiasts, there will be an opportunity to admire and acquire Mexican handicrafts.

Embark on a trip to Mexico and discover the breadth and beauty of the Mexican tradition of the Festival of the Dead. This is one of the rare opportunities in the City of Light to discover and understand the rituals and symbolism of this Mexican festival.

One of the highlights of the event is undoubtedly the exhibition of the Altar de Muertos - a traditional Mexican altar dedicated to the dead. This impressive eight-metre altar is a true masterpiece, showcasing Mexican art and culture.

Creative workshops will also be offered throughout the event, giving participants the opportunity to create their own works of art inspired by Mexican tradition. Children can have fun smashing colorful piñatas, another popular tradition of Mexican culture.

Live concerts, lively dancing andlively parades complete the experience of this traditional Mexican festival. What's more, food lovers will be able to sample delicious Mexican specialties throughout the event.

  • 12:00 & 13:00: Guided tours Altar de muertos / Traditional altar.
  • 12:30 pm: Opening session La Visita - Ofrenda - installation. (Subsequent sessions at 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm). By Juan Carlos Cedillo Gómez with the collaboration of Marisa Rubio.
  • Ollïn-ART exhibition: Painting, illustration, photography on the subject of "Un dia de muertos à Paris".
  • 11.00 am to 3.30 pm: Creative workshops between pavilions 18 and 21 (see map on site): Piñatas, paper flowers, creation of paper Calaveritas, creation of alebrijes.
