To discover what makes the city of Lights the capital of fashion, we offer you to go and discover Maison Lancel opening on September 21 and 22, 2019.
We generally see the finished product, these bags with a soft leather and perfectly finished taking center stage like princes on the shelves of the Parisian department stores… it requires lots of work to achieve such a feat!
For European Heritage Days, Maison Lancel invites you on a guided tour within the 17th arrondissement-based hotel particulier. On the menu? A 40-minute tour returning on the story of the Maison, from its creation in 1876 to nowadays, including the presentation of exceptional archive items.
This visit at the heart of the Maison Lancel will also be the opportunity to discover – with the explanations of a Compagnon du Devoir [Companion of Duty] – the whole process to create a handbag, from the drawing to the manufacture including the prototyping.
To take part in this free tour, you only have to send an email mentioning the names and surnames of the participants (maximum 4), the day and the time slot you’re interested, tours are planned every hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (excluding 2 p.m.) on September 21 and 22, 2019
