Nestled in the capital's 8tharrondissement , a stone's throw from Les Batignolles, the Lycée Chaptal was founded by educationalist and playwright Prosper Goubaux. As for its name, it refers to the French scientist, chemist, doctor and politician, whose first name was Jean-Antoine.
