For two days, young and old alike are invited to take advantage of exceptional openings, push open the doors of unusual places or even major institutions, and discover many hidden or little-known treasures. I'm talking about the Journées du Patrimoine, which return on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, 2023, for a new, 40th edition. Among the must-sees, of course, are station tours, such as at Porte Maillot station. As part of the Eole project to extend the RER E to the west, 3 new stations will soon be opening between Haussmann Saint-Lazare and Nanterre, including Porte Maillot station. Located under the current Porte Maillot traffic circle and designed by architect JM Duthilleul, this station will facilitate connections with RER line C and metro line 1, as well as the future surface tramway line 3.
