Now's the time to take advantage of a great deal! Every year in September, the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine (European Heritage Days ) take over the whole of theÎle-de-France region to offer us a weekend full of great cultural outings and new discoveries, with a program that's generally free of charge. Every year, numerous venues join in the fun, offering tours, events, shows, workshops, performances and other surprises. Each year, the most beautiful treasures of our heritage are on offer, including museums, monuments and castles, as well as more unusual places such as hospitals, fashion houses and embassies. In Paris, the program is so extensive that there's something for everyone! You won't want to miss the 40th edition on the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023.
Among the many exceptional visits awaiting us at this not-to-be-missed event are a number of ministries. These are usually located in the heart ofsublime private mansions, and are usually off-limits to the public. The Journées du Patrimoine are one of those rare occasions when we can discover them. Among the government sites opening their doors to us this year is theHôtel de Clermont, located in the capital's 7th arrondissement. This sublime mansion, dating from the early 18th century, is one of the oldest in the Faubourg Saint-Germain district. This is the headquarters of the French Ministry of Relations with Parliament. We reveal the program that awaits you during the Journées du Patrimoine weekend in Paris.
