The La Défense business district continues its transformation. In April 2020, a new venue dedicated to gastronomy will open its doors. The name? Table Square. For the occasion, big names such as Anne-Sophie Pic, Akrame Benallal and Olivier Bellin have been announced.
Foodies, take note: Table Square plans to open its doors inApril 2020. Located in the heart of the La Défense esplanade, on the Place de la Fontaine Agam, at the foot of the Cœur Défense and EDF towers, this new project dedicated to gastronomy will cover a total of 4,500 m², divided between three different pavilions, a 785 m² terrace (with seating for 500) and a large 800 m² central square.
The aim of the new venue is"to offer a high-quality, diversified and multicultural gastronomic offering within everyone's reach". Table Square's mission is also to promote "healthy, beautiful and better eating", a"state of mind shared by all the restaurateurs and players involved in the project". So what culinary projects will you be able to find at Table Square?
A total of 6 gastronomic signatures have been announced, including Daily Pic, imagined by multi-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic, Eclipse and Mersea, respectively proposed by two double-starred chefs, Akrame and Olivier Bellin, and Koedo, where you can enjoy high-quality Japanese cuisine made in-house by Japanese mothers!

- DAILY PIC
Daily Pic, by Anne-Sophie Pic, will offer a new concept: fast good à la française. With regularly renewed seasonal recipes, Daily Pic will offer well-cooked dishes that are always subtly balanced. At Daily Pic, ordering and payment will be digitalized.
- ECLIPSE, THE TABLE BAR
Come and discover Georges Abi Aad's gourmet bistro "Eclipse". Chef Cyril Boulet is at the helm of the kitchen, in partnership with Michelin-starred chef Akrame. For his third restaurant, Georges Abi Aad will be offering a top-quality range for an average bill of 38 euros, to be enjoyed in a modern, refined atmosphere. What's on the menu? Generous, convivial, simple and masterful cuisine.
- MERSEA
Haven't you heard of Mersea yet? Inspired by street-food but nonetheless gourmet, Mersea has been helping you rediscover the true taste of fish since 2016. At Mersea, two-starred Chef Olivier Bellin, owner of the Auberge des Glazicks in Plomodiern, Finistère, knows how to sublimate pollack, trout and haddock... all species mostly from French fisheries.
- GRILLED
Table Square will also welcome Grillé. With this opening, new meats (selected by Hugo Desnoyer), new marinades, new recipes and new cooking methods will see the light of day. Veal, lamb, chicken, beef and vegetables will be cooked over a wood fire, Teppanyaki-style and Döner-style.
- IT TRATTORIA
IT is the perfect alchemy between a beautiful space and good products for an innovative Italian-New York concept. Discover traditional Italian cuisine, 100% Italian products, a juice bar with freshly prepared fruit and vegetables, and a "dolce vita" atmosphere... Yes, all at once!
