After several week in lockdown, France was anticipating Emmanuel Macron’s speech. The French President addressed this Tuesday November 24, 2020 to speak about the progressive lockdown exit strategy. “Non-necessary” stores are allowed to reopen on November 28, but other sectors are still expecting, such as restaurants, theaters, gyms, and even movie theaters.
But some of them will no longer have long to wait since the French President brough some details as for the reopening dates and guidelines.
For theaters, movie theaters and show venues, they will be able to reopen under some conditions (under 5,000 daily infections, among others), complying with strict health protocol detailed this Thursday November 26, 2020 by Minister of Culutre Roselyne Bachelot during a press brief.
As for the health protocol detailed by the Minister, it will be the same as the one implemented during Mid-October curfew, right prior to lockdown, innluding a climax with curfew from 9 p.m. to 7 &.m. as well as the implementation of timestamp at the end of the day to enable people to get back home after a show or a movie. To prove their trip past 9 p.m., they will have to get a certificate and the ticket to the show.
Facemask wearing, group of maximum 6 people, social distancing, hand sanitizer... Rules that people will have to comply with starting December 15 including, for shows finishing at 9 p.m., tolerance shown to go back home.
