France Info says banning trips for Christmas is not an option for the French President, a source from Matignon has reported. BFMTV also confirms that trips from one region to the other will be allowed for Christmas. As for curfew, it will be lifted on December 24.
But what about the New Year’s Eve? Still according to France Info, Emmanuel Macron does not wish to differentiate between Christmas and New Year’s Day. He intends to manage the two events the same way.
On December 8, on LCI, Olivier Véran said that “everything can change” as for the Holidays. “Christmas is not New Year’s Day, we have to be even more cautious”, he added.
