The Art Deco movement, famous painters and sculptors, a vibrant cinema, uniquely styled furniture and architecture, a period rich in innovation... How much do you know about the 1930s? For a fascinating and immersive history lesson, come and visit the Musée des Années 30, in Boulogne-Billancourt.
This unique museum immerses us in the period between the wars, which had a major impact on the world of the arts. We admire works by Bernard Boutet de Monvel, Alfred Janniot, Ruhlmann, Leleu, Maurice Denis, George Desvallières, Charles Despiau, Siclis... From painting toarchitecture and cinema, the museum's permanent tour brings a whole decade to life.
Temporary exhibitions and events also enable us to learn more about certain artists or cultural trends. These visitor experiences invite us to take a fresh look at works and creators we thought we knew well, and who continue to influence today's art scene.
