Picasso Symphony, a show dedicated to the whole world, makes its French debut at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt. On March 1, 2025, you'll be able to discover Art in its many forms, in a visual and musical spectacle .
The aim of the show is to combine a surprising visual experience with the works of artist Pablo Picasso, accompanied by an orchestra. The symphony features music by great composers such as Falla, Britten, Satie, Ives, Albeniz, Holst and above all Stravinsky, artists who were friends of Picasso during his lifetime. The orchestra will focus on Stravinsky, a very good friend of Picasso, with whom he shared his drawings. A Stravinsky record cover was even created by Pablo Picasso .
Picasso Symphony takes a step-by-step look at the life and artistic development of Pablo Picasso . From Cubism and Surrealism to the creation of the famous painting Guernica, created in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War, you'll discover the artist and his works as you've never seen them before.
The show is produced by Jason Michael Paul, a renowned innovator in music concerts, having already produced over 300. Use of the visuals on Picasso's works of art is authorized by the Picasso Estate, represented by Picasso Administration.
"We're looking forward to allowing the public to approach and celebrate the work of this prolific artist in a groundbreaking way. This experiment is the first of its kind to be followed by Matisse." - Jason Michael Paul
