Devdas - Le Musical: an epic Bollywood show at Grand Rex

From April 24 to May 11, 2025,the Grand Rex in Paris lights up in the colors of Bollywood, with the European premiere of Devdas - Le Musical. Based on the legendary novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, this show promises total immersion in one of the greatest love stories in Indian literature. Driven, according to the organizers, by spellbinding melodies, spectacular dancing and sumptuous costumes, Devdas presents itself as a modern, grand version of the Indian classic, in a style reminiscent of Broadway.

Like an Indian Romeo and Juliet, Devdas - The Musical explores the tragic love triangle between Devdas, Chandramukhi and Paro, a tale of love, passion and despair that has spanned the ages. The musical appears to be supported by a stunning visual and musical interpretation, including renowned Bollywood actors such as Bhavna Pani(Bharati) and Gilles Chuyen. They bring this saga to life in a production of rare opulence, evoking the splendor of Calcutta in the early 20th century.
