On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the 20th edition of the Nuit des Musées (Night of the Museums) promises to be packed with cultural highlights. Every year, this not-to-be-missed springtime event invites us to experience a program of exceptional nocturnes at the heart of museums, monuments, castles, art foundations, cultural centers and other exciting venues. In the four corners of the Paris region, you'll find free visits and special events for young and old, including concerts, workshops and screenings.

The venue is the Maison du Docteur Gachet, a charming 19th-century residence that also features an English garden and a troglodytic artist's studio. It was originally the residence of Dr. Paul Gachet, a physician, painter, patron and collector who, during his lifetime, amassed one of the most important collections of Impressionist art in Europe. The site now houses a"Van Gogh Museum", in homage to the iconic painter whose final body of work was created in Auvers-sur-Oise.
