Every spring, the Nuitdes Musées (Nightof the Museums ) offers an exceptional nocturne at the heart of our heritage treasures. Over the course of an evening, enthusiasts and the curious are invited to rediscover our museums through a vast program of visits, often free of charge, accompanied by special events including concerts, workshops and even unusual activities. It's a great cultural opportunity for families, friends, lovers and even solo visitors! Each year, Paris and the whole of the Ile-de-France region unveil so many ideas for outings that it's hard not to find a program to match your passion!
It's also an opportunity to discover the treasures of the Ile-de-France region. In the heart of the Yvelines region, the Victor Aubert Museum in Maule is taking part in this exceptional nocturne. This museum, which plunges us into thehistory of the town and surrounding area, is nestled in the heart of the remains of a priory whose origins date back to 1076. A 13th-century tithe cellar and a 14th-century roof frame still remain. Today, the museum's collections retrace the town of Maule' s past from prehistoric times to the early Middle Ages, and bear witness to the region's folk traditions and rural life in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
