We're off to enjoy Nuit des Musées at the Musée Jean-Jacques Henner, this Saturday, May 18, 2024. A wonderful free evening awaits us from 6pm to 10pm, in the permanent collections and temporary exhibition of the moment at this museum in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

A French painter of the 19th century, Jean-Jacques Henner left behind a large body of work. He is best known for his portraits and landscapes, painted during an extensive trip to Italy after winning the Prix de Rome. His female nudes and his unsettling realist style are particularly memorable.

The Musée Jean-Jacques Henner was once a private mansion and studio particularly popular with Parisian artists. This historic cocoon houses over 2,200 works recounting the life of this artist.
