Museums Night is back for the 18th edition on Saturday May 14, 2022. On the occasion, the Grand Palais opens digitally. As a matter of fact, the Parisian monument is still closed over renovations and cannot have you on site. But, a digital tour is on to tell you all the secrets of this historic place.
From the comfort of your home, go and explore this staple landmark in Paris, guided by lecturers willing to answer all your questions.
Inaugurated for the 1900 World Fair, this historic monument is set across the Petit Palais, a stone's throw from the avenue des Champs-Elysées. It is part of the most iconic monuments in Paris and provides a wonderful 45-meter high nave, as well as several adjoining rooms.
Every year, over 8000 people enjoy the Grand Palais for a night, but you will have to wait 2024 to enjoy it again. At the end of the year, the Grand Palais moves out and into a 10,000sqm facility on the Champ de Mars in order to tackle 3 years' work likely to give a fresh impetus to the 120-year-old building.
While waiting for its reopening, this program is a way to discover this unique place. Book your ticket now!
