For more than 40 years now, the Fête de la Musique has been brightening up the month of June with a huge number of free concerts on June 21 all over France. Launched in 1982 on the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture, with the aim of giving amateur musicians a chance to express themselves and make a name for themselves, the Fête de la Musique has come a long way since then, to the point of being exported.
In France, more and more musicians want to take part in this great popular and festive event, to help as many people as possible discover their musical style. The Fête de la Musique is designed to be eclectic. All genres are honored, whether rock, metal, punk, rap, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, blues, jazz, French variety or electro, house and disco.
This year is no exception to the rule, and once again there's plenty of good music to be had in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, including Vitry-sur-Seine. On Friday, June 21, 2024 , this town in the Val-de-Marne region of the Ile-de-France will be hosting a festive and convivial evening for young and old alike. All you have to do is head to the Parc du Coteau-Marcel-Rosette from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm. On the program? Free concerts by Hakim Vibration, Outcycle, Petrichor and the famous Martinican artist Dédé Saint Prix.
Join us on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm in the Parc du Coteau-Marcel-Rosette, for no less than four free concerts with free admission.
Then, from 10.30pm to midnight, enjoy an open-air cinema as part of the Cuban Film Festival.
