Another Fête de la musique in Paris! As every year, the capital is getting into the swing of things with a host of free concerts and DJ sets. Whether on the streets, in bars and restaurants, in museums and cultural centers, or in churches and institutions, music vibrates every June 21 during this popular event that many people love.
This year, the Fête de la musique returns on Friday June 21, 2024 , with a new 42nd edition that promises to be as convivial as it is festive! If you're looking for an eclectic mix, then head for Poisson Lune: the Palais de la Porte Dorée 's famous ephemeral terrace, which we've enjoyed so much in previous years.
Once again installed on the forecourt of the Palais de la Porte Dorée, in the capital's 12th arrondissement, this ephemeral terrace will welcome a number of artists with diverse and varied styles on June 21, 2024 from 7:30pm.
On the menu? The Paris Conservatories, happy to dance Shechter. Students and teachers from the Conservatoires de la Ville de Paris and the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt have made Hofesh Shechter's dance their own for a major project devised as part of the 2024 Youth Olympiad. A group of young dancers, involved in this project inspired by Hofesh Shechter's movement, will take over several Parisian venues on June 21, including the Palais de la Porte Dorée for a performance announced in the Forum.
Then it's on to the Eco-Friendly-Afro-Futuristic-Punk collective, Fulu Miziki, followed by Gabonese singer Pamela Badjogo and DJ Ka(ra)mi, for a tasty musical treat on the ephemeral terrace.
Please note that these concerts are free of charge, but subject to availability.
