On June 21, we celebrate music! Like every year at the same time, the French gather in the streets, but also on the terraces of bars and restaurants or in parks and gardens, to celebrate music in joy and good humor by enjoying many free concerts and dj sets.
A popular, festive, free event open to all musicians, amateurs of all levels and professionals alike, the Fête de la Musique celebrates living music, while showcasing the breadth and diversity of musical practices and genres.
Once again this year, there's plenty of good music on offer in Paris and the Paris region, thanks to the talents of a host of musicians eager to share their musical styles with as many people as possible. From rock and jazz to electro, classical and hip-hop... there's something for everyone!
For rap fans, the 11th arrondissement of Paris is hosting an exclusive block party. To experience this free event, head to a cul-de-sac in the 11th arrondissement on Friday, June 21, 2024. From 6 p.m. onwards, several DJs will take over rue Alphonse Baudin to liven up this district of the capital by paying tribute to hip-hop culture!

It's already been 20 years since the Hip-Hop Block Party in impasse Saint-Sébastien, initiated by theRighteous association, got Parisians moving during the Fête de la Musique in Paris. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this musical event, with a program featuring some fifteen artists!
