RATP is celebrating music again this year! Join us on Friday June 21, 2024 underground to discover three different choirs in the Paris metro, all planning to give their voices to the occasion. We reveal the program in more detail.

Another Fête de la musique in Paris! On Friday June 21, 2024, the streets of Paris will be alive with music for a day and evening not to be missed.

Like every year on the same date, budding musicians take to the streets to celebrate all kinds of music (rock, rap, electro, jazz, blues, classical, French variety, reggae, metal, zouk...) with free concerts in the street, but also in squares, parks and gardens, cafés, bars and restaurants, churches, museums and even hospitals.

Concerts have also been announced underground, in the Paris metro to be precise! Once again this year, RATP is taking part in the Fête de la Musique, with a special festive program.

For this year's Fête de la musique, RATP is putting singing in the spotlight by inviting three different choirs to perform on June 21, 2024: Podium, Chorale Sauvage et Clandestine and Les Voisins du Dessus. The choirs will perform in two Paris metro stations: Auber and Charles de Gaulle - Étoile. The icing on the cake is that any passengers who wish to join the Les Voisins du Dessus choir will be able to give their all!

Fête de la musique 2024 in the Paris metro

Friday, June 21, 2024 - Auber and Charles de Gaulle - Étoile stations

  • From 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., at Auber station (RER A), join Podium Paris, an inclusive and festive choir.

  • From 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile metro station, Chorale Sauvage et Clandestine sings of hospitality and self-improvement with disco, French chanson and classics of the genre.

  • From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station, come and listen to the Les Voisins du Dessus choir, offering a spontaneous performance open to all amateurs. For the occasion, travelers are invited to vote now for their 3 favorites from among these odes to Olympic values: " The Winner Takes It All " by ABBA, " The final Countdown " by Europe, " La Seine " by Vanessa Paradis and M, " Au bout de mes rêves " by Jean-Jacques Goldman, " Pata, pata " by Miriam Makeba and " Aux Champs-Elysée " by Joe Dassin.
