La Terrasse des Jeux hosts the Marathon pour Tous: the program of free events

This weekend of August 10 and 11, 2024, the famous Terrasse des Jeux at Hôtel de Ville is transformed into a lively and festive venue for the long-awaited Marathon pour tous. Discover the program for these two lively days of free and open access, which conclude with the broadcast of the closing ceremony.

The Marathon pour tous takes place on Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11, 2024. And it's in the very heart of the Terrasse des Jeux that the starts of these future mythical 10km and marathon races, take place. To mark the occasion, the lively fan zone is transformed, offering a whole range offree, open-accessevents. However, you'll need to be among the first 2,500 people to gain access to the festive site.

Saturday, August 10 program

  • 6:30 am: Opening of the Games Terrace

  • 7am: Mascot animations and giant screens (short sports films)

  • 8am: Start of the elite men's marathon

  • 10 a.m.-7 p.m.: Therapeutic massage sessions of 15 minutes each - École de Kinésithérapie de Paris

  • 10 a.m.-7 p.m.: Draw Your Sign animation to support marathon runners

  • 12:30 pm: Group fitness class - Swedish Fit

  • 1pm-7pm: Initiations and measurement workshops for long jump, high jump, sprint, virtual reality, running tips - Fédération Française d'Athlétisme

  • 7:15pm: Barjots Bunkers show

  • 9pm: Start of the Marathon Pour Tous

  • 10:20pm: Show (light orchestra)

  • 11:30 p.m.: Start of the 10-kilometer race for all

  • 1am: Closing of the Games Terrace

Sunday, August 11 program

  • 6:30 am: Opening of the Games Terrace

  • 7am: Mascot entertainment and giant screens (short sports films)

  • 8am: Start of the elite women's marathon

  • 10 a.m.-7 p.m.: Therapeutic massage sessions of 15 minutes each - École de Kinésithérapie de Paris

  • 12:30 pm: Group fitness class - Swedish Fit

  • 1pm-7pm: Initiations and measurement workshops for long jump, high jump, sprint, virtual reality, running tips - Fédération Française d'Athlétisme

  • 7pm-7.45pm: Ecran Pop entertainment (cinematic karaoke)

  • 8pm: Games dance

  • 9-11:30pm: Live broadcast of the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony

  • 1am: Closing of the Games Terrace

Race routes starting from the Terrasse des Jeux

The three marathons (elite men, Marathon Pour Tous and elite women) will follow the same 42.195 km route through Paris and the surrounding region. Athletes will start in front of the Hôtel de Ville and finish on the Esplanade des Invalides, crossing 9 communes: Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt, Sèvres, Ville-d'Avray, Versailles, Viroflay, Chaville, Meudon and Issy-les-Moulineaux.

For those who prefer a shorter format, the 10 Km Pour Tous offers a route rich in iconic Parisian landmarks to the Esplanade des Invalides. Open to all, from age 16 upwards, this race includes people with disabilities, with special facilities to ensure inclusive and memorable participation.
