The Paris 2024 Olympic Games is the not-to-be-missed sporting event of the decade in the capital! If everyone wants to take part, places are limited, between the ticket office and the competitions set up by numerous partner organizations. And the Marathon pour Tous is only open to the lucky few, who will be able to run on the same course as the Olympic athletes, on August 10, 2024 from 9pm for the marathon and 11:30pm for the 10k.
In all, 20,024 bibs for the 42.195km race and the same number for the 10km race have been distributed free of charge in recent months. This is the first time that the Olympic Games' flagship race has been made accessible to the general public. Available in two versions, the Marathon pour Tous will also start at theHôtel de Ville and finish on theesplanade des Invalides.
The 42.195 km race, identical to that of the marathon runners, is aimed at regular athletes, as the course is particularly difficult. The 10km race, on the other hand, can be run by anyone aged 16 or over, even those with disabilities.
Although it is no longer possible to win a race number, you will be able to attend this exceptional race through the capital and a part of the Ile-de-France region, after the official marathon event, in a nocturnal version. For the occasion, some transport services will be open all night, so you can enjoy the event and cheer on your loved ones, or head home if you're one of the lucky ones.
