As previously announced, certain events taking place in Paris can be viewed free of charge: this will be the case for triathlons, marathons and road cycling. In short, it's a great idea to be able to admire the athletes and their performances, without needing a ticket!
The Paris 2024 triathlon events take place right in the center of Paris: in the Seine, along the quays, on the Champs-Élysées... Visitors located along the course can thus watch the athletes go by and cheer them on. Only the stands at the Alexandre-III bridge (start/finish area) and the Champs-Élysées bridge are chargeable.
The men's and women's triathlon events will take place on September 1 and 2, mixing men and women since disabled athletes are classified by disability category, and this is how the starts are given. The course of the Paralympic triathlon follows that of its Olympic counterpart, where we saw France's Cassandre Beaugrand triumph, Léo Bergère win bronze and Emma Lombardi, Pierre Le Corre and the French mixed team relay take a fine 4th place (at the foot of the podium).
