Until September 8, 2024, the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games promise great medals, great emotions, but above all, extraordinary performances in venues that are unique in the world.
Some of the dozens of events on offer are free and open to the general public. These include the Paralympic marathon, whose route crosses the Seine-Saint-Denis département and Paris over 42 kilometers, and the para-triathlon events.
Finally organized on September 2, 2024 from 8:15 am, the para triathlon includes several starts, with athletes classified by disability category and gender. Starts will follow the following schedule:
Monday, September 2 :
On the French side, some of our Paralympic athletes will be there, with Alexis Hanquinquant, flag bearer for the French delegation.
To cheer on our French athletes competing in the para triathlon events, and all the other champions of the day, you can post up along the course to support the athletes.

Each athlete will have to pass the tests in three disciplines: 750 m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run, the official Paralympic distance. While the swim has just one loop, from the Alexandre III bridge (where the start will be given) to the Invalides bridge, there are 5 loops on the bike, with the route passing in front of the Petit Palais, avenue Montaigne, avenue des Champs-Elysees, the quays of Orsay... Before finishing on the run, with 3 loops on Boulevard Saint-Germain and the Quais d'Orsay.
So get your flags, face painters and other supporters' shirts ready, and go and watch the Paris 2024 para triathlon events, starting at 8.15am!
