It's undoubtedly one of the events that will be making news during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This summer, amateur athletes will take the same route as the Olympic marathon for the Marathon pour tous. Held at night on August 10, 2024, the Marathon pour tous will honor the city's heritage, while offering participants a range of events every kilometer.
Two races are also on offer, with a 42.195km marathon on a loop linking Paris and Versailles, passing through 9 communes. A second 10km race will start 2h30 later. For both races, the start will be from theHôtel de Ville, with a scheduled finish at Les Invalides.
On the occasion of the Marathon pour tous, which is likely to attract a large number of participants and spectators, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France region and of Île-de-France Mobilités, has announced that certain Parisian transport services will be in operation throughout the night of August 10. The announcement, relayed by AFP and several media outlets including TF1 and L'Équipe, was made on Monday, March 25, during the presentation of the transport plan and innovations put in place for the duration of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Now we know which lines are affected, according to the official Marathon Pour Tous website.
After end of service:
- RER C and metro 8: Invalides.
- Metros 1 and 9 / Noctilien N01: Franklin D. Roosevelt.
- Noctilien N02: Assemblée Nationale.
Invalides RER C: 1 rail shuttle every 15 minutes between 0:00 and 2:54, serving Invalides, Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame and Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand in both directions, providing connections with lines 4 and 14.
