To celebrate Valentine's Day in an original way, head for the Musée de la Poste on February 8 and 14, 2025. On the program: workshops, candlelight tours and champagne...

In the age of smartphones and social networks, lovers can talk to each other whenever they want, wherever they want. Practical advances, but sometimes lacking a little charm... The Musée de la Poste takes us back in time for Valentine's Day 2025, with special workshops and events for the great romantics.

To celebrate this day of love, the Parisian museum is organizing two themed days, bringing the love letters of our parents and grandparents up to date.

Arm yourself with your best quill and a notebook, and let Cupid inspire you to get down on paper some words that will make your loved one's heart skip a beat. At the Musée de la Poste, there are a number of workshops for amateurs and experienced artists alike, where you can have fun and make something special for your loved one.

These Valentine's Day festivities take place over two days: February 8 and 14. There's a special program for both days, below.

Valentine's Day on February 8 at the Musée de la Poste :

  • Writing love, quite simply
2:00-2:30 pm: a two-voice flash visit by author Marion Fritsch and a museum guide, who will help you (re)discover the museum through the prism of Love, including the French postage stamps, in the shape of hearts, issued by La Poste since 2000 to mark Valentine's Day.
2:30 - 4:00 pm: a workshop to revisit the art of the love letter, that timeless gesture that captures the beating of the heart and translates it into words. In the company of author and poet Marion Fritsch, you'll learn how to structure a letter, choose the right words to express your emotions and create a text that deeply touches its recipient. At the end of this workshop, you'll leave with a unique love letter, ready to be shared or kept.
