Former Haussmann hotel turned into a movie theater in the 50’s, the Publicis Cinéma is because of its program a unique location in Paris. One Sunday per month, the Publicis rooms welcome the “Dimanches en Corée” cycle namely screenings of Korean movies. Enjoy these classic movies every month in addition to the Korean Film Festival or the Festival du film Coréen held yearly. And the festival takes place at the Publicis Cinéma too. Every October, the festival marks its return at the theater for fans’ greatest joy. In 2019, for the 14th edition, the Publicis Cinéma welcomed over 9,000 people in one week!
As for the rest of the program, the theater plays national and art films that has little to low visibility in the cinema universe, all in original version with subtitles. Screenings take place in the 2 rooms of the Publicis Cinéma where – in terms of comfort – you will enjoy leather seats. A comfort also involving the sound. No Dolby cinema or Atmos, but speakers checked every month for a very delightful sound.
For 17 years, the Publicis Cinéma is linked to the Publicis Drugstore, set just next door. Restaurants, bookstore, perfumery and more stores are open daily until 2 in the morning. All this in an inconic location in Paris: the Champs-Elysées. As for culture, visit the Arc de Triomphe set 400 meters from the theater. Then, meet at 86 Champs in famous pastry chef Pierre Hermé’s store, the Fouquet’s restaurant or the famous Galeries Lafayette. As for entertaining, enjoy the PSG’s official store and the Le Lido cabaret.
