If you love good movies, you will be happy! and for good reason: the Grand Rex has announced, when reopening the movie theater on June 22, 2020 after closing for several months because of the coronavirus crisis, that a Quentin Tarantino marathon was scheduled from July 13 to 16, 2020 this summer. The occasion to discover – or rediscover – most of the director’s movies, especially if you missed them when they were released.
And among the movies screened, we have the two Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, The Hateful Eight, and even Django Unchained. Yet Reservoir Dogs, and Death Proof will not come to the party “since rights have been lost because of the Weinstein case” as our peers at Konbini say.
A summer event that follows two major retrospectives focusing on two other directors. The first one being about Steven Spielberg’s movies, from June 30 to July 4, as the second one, focusing on Christopher Nolan’s movie, will take place from July 8 to 11. A very beautiful summer program you do not want to miss. Let’s go, friends, shall we?
