On April 12, French moviegoers will be able to discover a never-before-seen version of Dark Star, John Carpenter's very first film. Released in 1974, the film will be screened in a restored and digital version. For the occasion, four other films by the director of The Thing will be restored and re-released in theaters: New York 1997, Invasion Los Angeles, Prince of Darkness and Fog.
This is the opportunity to (re)discover this UFO, the first work of a young filmmaker who will revolutionize the horror film. Dark Star is a very particular film, which has aged a lot, but the fans of the director will find a great interest in it. Above all, the four other films are among the cult works of Carpenter. We especially recommend Prince of Darkness, a horror film with a creepy and mysterious atmosphere and a terrifying ending. We bet you won't leave indifferent.
See you on April 12 to rediscover these films in theaters.
