Tim Burton's Labyrinth promises"an immersive and entertaining experience, for all and sundry, in the cult universe of the filmmaker", a completely new entry into the director's universe. Edward Scissorhands, Mars Attack, Beetlejuice, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- Tim Burton 's works can be counted by the dozens, and they can all be found in this extraordinary cinematic and fantastic adventure, open all summer long, from May 19 to August 20, 2023, at the Chapiteaux de la Villette space.
This labyrinth is not the first of its kind. First presented in Madrid before coming to Paris, this experience of fantasy and monsters consists of an almost 5,000 m² maze dedicated to a playful journey imagined by the filmmaker himself. Families are welcome, but children must be at least 11 years old to avoid getting too scared, as some of the spaces and characters can be a little creepy for the youngest.
After the first room, you're invited to lose yourself in Tim Burton's labyrinth, and discover the filmmaker's creations through a dozen rooms. Although there are 23 of them, you won't be able to see everything, so you'll have to choose which doors to open that inspire the most confidence... or not! Whether it's 1, 2, 3 or 4, you'll have a choice of nearly three hundred itineraries! It's an opportunity to rediscover Tim Burton's filmography from a whole new angle, as well as a hundred previously unpublished works, including a series of uniquely styled drawings!
Ready to immerse yourself in this phantasmagorical universe?
