A charming medieval town, an Impressionist stronghold and one of France's most beautiful detours, Moret-sur-Loing in Seine-et-Marne has it all! At the start of the new school year, a film festival takes place here, with a host of exceptional free events, for three days dedicated to heritage cinema. With screenings, drive-ins, ciné-concert and reconstructions of film sets using period equipment, cinephiles and the curious are in for a treat at this fifth tribute to Jean Marais and Raimu.
From August 30 to September 1, 2024, you can rediscover our cinematic heritage in a genuine film set, which will give you the impression of a period between the 1900s and 1960s, for the duration of one day. The program includes silver films, lectures, extras straight out of period films, cinema ushers, musicians, storytellers and the region's only drive-in, all without spending a cent.
The all-volunteer festival, created in 2016, invites you to help preserve the collective memory of French cinema.
