Announced since 2020 and constantly postponed, the anime adapted from the manga "Spirale", by the master of Japanese horror Junji Ito, now has its first trailer. But no release date has yet been announced.

Fans of manga and horror are waiting with bated breath. Spirale, the anime adapted from the manga of the same name, has been expected since 2020 and constantly postponed. 2023 seems to mark the end of the wait, as a first trailer has finally been unveiled, by the American channel Adult Swim.

With its sticky black-and-white, eerie atmosphere and disturbing visuals, Spirale has everything you'd expect from the original manga - one of the most terrifying ever written, and a true masterpiece from its author Junji Ito. The mini-series is scheduled to run for four episodes.

Spirale synopsis

Kirie Goshima lives in the small town of Kurouzu, somewhat isolated between the sea and the surrounding mountains. She's a perfectly normal high-school girl, but her boyfriend's father is beginning to behave in a disturbing way: he's obsessed with observing sp iral-shapedobjects . This shape is becoming increasingly present in the small town, as if under the influence of a curse...
