For horror fans, the Saw saga has always offered thrilling moments. This time, with the launch of the Saw X trailer, audiences discover a John Kramer (played by Tobin Bell), the dreaded puzzle killer, back in the spotlight. Directed by Kevin Greutert, this sequel promises to be one of the most disturbing yet, exploring the events between Saw I and Saw II. The official release date is October 25.
John Kramer, known for his sophisticated death traps, is at the center of this new plot. Faced with a serious illness, he travels to Mexico in the hope of a miracle procedure to cure his cancer. Unfortunately, he realizes that this promising solution was nothing more than a cruel deception targeting vulnerable patients.
With renewed rage, the puzzle killer takes on a new mission: to punish those who have tried to swindle him. Viewers can expect a series of ingenious and terrifying traps, hallmarks of this franchise. In addition to Tobin Bell, the film features Shawnee Smith, Synnøve Macody Lund and Michael Beach in key roles, adding depth and dimension to the already rich plot.
The inclusion of a scenario based between the first two films offers a unique perspective, allowing fans to better understand the motivations and development of John Kramer's character. Without rushing to judgment on the film, we can speculate that, like its predecessors, Saw X will be an intense adventure full of twists and turns.
Set between SAW I and II, it finds a sick and desperate John traveling to Mexico to undergo an experimental operation to cure his cancer, only to discover that it's all a scam targeting vulnerable and afflicted patients. Driven by a new purpose, the notorious serial killer returns to his work, and takes his revenge on these swindlers in a terrible "game" of which he has the secret, through traps each more Machiavellian and ingenious than the last.
