Synopsis: The women of the small town of Ballyfermot, Ireland, all hope to be the lucky ones to make a pilgrimage to the sacred city of Lourdes, France. On this journey of a lifetime, the quartet discover the true meaning of friendship and forgiveness, and experience a personal "miracle" in turn.

Traveling together gives them the opportunity to grow closer and rediscover each other, finally settling forty-year-old scores, the year a tragic accident shattered these women's lives.
It's also an opportunity to examine the daily lives of housewives in 1960s England. It's a time when women's mental workloads are heavy, and their husbands don't care, because they don't even notice. Despite a lack of subtlety, and a sometimes expected scenario, The Miracle Club remains a lovely story aimed at an older audience.
