Édouard Pluvieux's latest film,14 Jours pour aller Mieux, promises to be a must-see comedy starring Maxime Gasteuil and Romain Lancry. They are joined by an impressive cast, including Zabou Breitman, Lionel Abelanski, Anne Serra, David Salles, Estéban, Rosa Bursztein, Nader Boussandel, Ragnar Le Breton, and Redouane Bougheraba. Chantal Lauby, Michel Boujenah and Bernard Farcy also add their special contributions to the film.
At the heart of this story, we follow Maxime, an ambitious, pragmatic executive obsessed with his career and his future marriage to Nadège, his boss's daughter. Ignoring his own distress and on the verge of burn-out, Maxime is unwittingly drawn into what he considers his worst nightmare by Romain, his future brother-in-law: a wellness course. Supervised by Clara and Luc, a self-proclaimed "clairvoyant" couple, and surrounded by trainees with eccentric characters, Maxime is in for 14 days that could well turn his vision of the world upside down.
14 Jours pour aller Mieux is set to explore with humor and sensitivity the themes of the quest for meaning, well-being and personal self-examination. Through comic situations and colorful characters, the film promises to entertain while inviting reflection on the importance of work-life balance.
On VOD from July 10, 2024, 14 Jours pour aller Mieux is an invitation to laugh, to be moved and perhaps, to rethink the way we live. A modern comedy that, through the prism of humor, tackles fundamental questions about well-being and the quest for self.
