This is the script for Julie keeps quiet(Julie zwijgt in Dutch), the first feature film by director Leonardo van Dijl. The film will be screened at Critics' Week 2024, the parallel section of the Cannes Festival 2024 that selects and rewards first and second films.
Born in Belgium in 1991, Leonardo Van Dijl is a screenwriter and director whose most recent short film, Stephanie, was selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 2020, as well as many other festivals.
As Leonardo van Dijl's first feature film, Julie zwijgt (Julie keeps quiet) is in with a chance of winning the Caméra d'Or 2024 for first films only. The other films in the running for this prestigious prize can be found here.
